The Problem

Does This Sound Familiar?

You're an expert at your craft. You stay busy. But something's not adding up.

01

Some jobs make money, others don't

You're not sure which — because you're not tracking profit per job or margin by service line.

02

Cash is tight despite consistent work

Staying busy but can't see more than a few weeks ahead on cash flow. Surprises keep coming.

03

Pricing feels like guesswork

No pricing model. No margin analyzer. Just gut feel and what competitors seem to charge.

04

You're always putting out fires

Reactive, not proactive. No dashboard to see problems before they become crises.

05

The business runs you

Owner-dependent. No systems. Falls apart when you're not there.

Most service business owners leave $10,000–$50,000 on the table annually through inconsistent pricing and poor job costing.”

The Diagnostic

You Get Systems,
Not Just Advice

Most consultants deliver a report and wish you luck. I build your operational infrastructure — the KPI dashboard, the pricing calculator, the job costing model — and put it in your hands, ready to use.

  • Custom KPI Dashboard5–10 metrics built for your business in Excel — ready to use immediately
  • 4 Operational ToolsPricing worksheet, job costing calculator, margin analyzer, cash flow template
  • 8–12 Page Strategic MemoData-driven findings and specific recommendations — not generic advice
  • 90-Day Action PlanPrioritized: do this first, then this, then this — no vague homework
  • 90-Min Delivery Call + 30-Day Email SupportWalk through every finding together. Implementation questions answered.

The Dashboard

Built for Your Trade.
Not a Template.

Every dashboard is built from scratch around your specific business — your trade, your crew size, your service mix. No two are the same. Common metrics for service businesses include:

Profit Per JobBy job type
Gross MarginBy service line
Cash RunwayRolling 90-day
Labor EfficiencyPer crew/tech
Pricing AccuracyEst. vs. actual
AR AgingCash exposure

Your dashboard will be scoped during the intake call based on your specific trade and priorities.

How It Works
Day 1

Intake call — 60 min to understand your business, trade, and priorities

Days 2–6

Analysis — I review your financials, pricing, and operations; build your dashboard and tools

Day 7

Delivery call — 90 min walking through every finding, recommendation, and next step

30 Days

Email support — implementation questions answered; you're not on your own

The Impact

What Actually Changes
When You Have the Data

Operational clarity isn’t abstract. Here’s what it looks like in practice for a trades business that finally has the right systems in place.

82% of contractor business failures are caused by poor cash flow management Source: TGUC Financial / U.S. Bank Study
84% of U.S. contractor companies experience cash flow problems — most with no system to see it coming Source: Sitemate / Dodge Construction Network
18–24% the average service business underprices relative to its actual costs — losing margin on every job without knowing it Source: Due.com / Small Business Pricing Analysis
97% of small business owners work weekends — most catching up on the quoting, invoicing, and admin that didn’t get done during the week Source: The Alternative Board / Ipsos SME Survey

These aren’t industry problems. They’re systems problems — and systems problems have solutions.

01

You Stop Losing Money on Bad Jobs

Most trades businesses have jobs that look busy but bleed cash. A job costing system tells you exactly which service lines, job types, and customers are profitable — and which ones you’re subsidizing. You stop bidding the same way and start pricing for margin.

02

Cash Flow Stops Being a Surprise

A rolling 90-day cash flow model shows you what’s coming before it arrives. Slow season, a big payable, a slow-paying customer — you see it weeks out and make decisions from a position of clarity instead of reacting to a crisis.

03

Pricing Becomes Confident, Not Gut Feel

A working pricing model accounts for your actual labor costs, materials, overhead, and target margin. You stop guessing what to charge and stop leaving money on the table because a competitor quoted less and you panicked.

04

The Business Runs Without You in the Weeds

When your operations are documented and your numbers are tracked, you stop being the single point of failure. You can take a day off, hand work to a crew lead, or plan a week at the lake without the business falling apart behind you.

05

You Make Decisions From Data, Not Stress

When you know your numbers, the noise quiets down. Should you hire another tech? Take that out-of-town job? Buy the new equipment? The dashboard tells you what the business can actually support — and what it can’t.

The Bottom Line

$10,000–$50,000

That’s the typical range of recoverable profit in year one for a trades business that gets serious about job costing, pricing discipline, and cash flow management. Not a guarantee — a pattern.

Why I'm Different

I Build the Systems.
Not Just Recommend Them.

Most consultants won't prioritize a $500K business — the math doesn't work for them and you know it. I built my career running operations at the enterprise level. Now I bring those same tools to businesses that have never had access to them. You get a working dashboard, a pricing model, and a 90-day plan. Not someday — on day one.

Enterprise tools. Small business price.

What Day One Looks Like

01

Your KPI Dashboard Is Built

Not assigned as homework. Built, formatted, and ready to use.

02

You Know Which Jobs Make Money

Job costing and margin analysis done — no more guessing.

03

Your Pricing Model Is Done

A working calculator built for your rates, your costs, your margins.

04

You Have a 90-Day Plan

Prioritized, specific, and yours to execute — with or without me.

Not a coaching call. Not a framework. Operational infrastructure — on day one.

Isaac Fox

Operational Advisor

Fox Business Advisors, LLC
Arkansas & Surrounding States

With a BBA and MBA in hand, I spent 20+ years inside corporate operations — finance, sales, delivery, and marketing — building the KPI frameworks, operational systems, and strategic playbooks that large organizations run on. I’ve seen what it looks like when a business has real operational infrastructure, and I’ve seen what it costs when it doesn’t. Most small trades businesses are run by people who are exceptional at their craft but have never had access to those tools. I built Fox Business Advisors to change that.

Professional Background

BBA & MBA — business administration and operations

20+ years corporate operations — finance, sales, delivery & marketing

Built and deployed KPI frameworks, operational dashboards, and strategic playbooks at scale

Now bringing enterprise-level systems to $200K–$2M owner-operators who have never had access to them

“Your CPA handles tax compliance and bookkeeping. I handle forward-looking strategy, pricing, and operations. We complement each other — not compete.”

Beyond the Work

I grew up in Kirby, Arkansas — a small rural town in Southwest Arkansas — raised by a blue-collar family. Painters, construction workers, auto-body guys. I know how important the trades are, not just as a business category, but to the families behind them and the communities they serve. I’ve also seen firsthand what inconsistent business does to a household. That context doesn’t leave you.

Today I live in Benton with my wife and kids. My oldest plays baseball and keeps our calendar full. In the gaps, we’re outdoors — the lake, hunting season, side-by-sides. I know the people I work with because I’m one of them.
